Kuwait dominates the fourth day of the Youth GCC Games

DUBAI April 20, KUNA): On the fourth day of the First Youth GCC Games held in the UAE, the Kuwaiti national team added five more medals to their tally. Yasmine Walid clinched gold with a remarkable 1.60-meter high jump performance. Abdullah Al-Yalous secured gold in the 110-meter hurdles event, while Fahid Hamada dominated the 3000-meter race to claim gold for Kuwait.

Dina Rashid triumphed in the 400-meter hurdles race, earning yet another gold medal for the team. Dalal Al-Azmi’s impressive hammer throw earned Kuwait a silver medal. The Kuwaiti delegation, comprising 210 talented athletes competing in 19 different sports, has been actively participating since the tournament commenced on April 16.

The event is scheduled to run until May 2, featuring a total of 3,500 male and female athletes representing all GCC countries.
