Taiwan has long been a vital design and manufacturing leader for the global Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry. The island’s consumer electronics products embody great value and innovation, and cutting edge design. Taiwan is the world’s largest chipmaker, responsible for close to a quarter of the world’s semiconductor chip production. Taiwanese-based companies are responsible for about three quarters of the world’s PCs, a third of the world’s liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and twenty percent of mobile phones sold worldwide.
For the first time, the Taiwan Excellence will showcase the top performing innovators of 2016-17 at CeBIT on 23 May 2017. Media are invited to hear from specialist developers and makers of voice activated robot personal assistants, gaming gears, smart office and home, education devices and liquid-cooled open frame tempered glass PC cases.
“Taiwan has been a major industrial powerhouse and technological innovator and it is our intention to continue to lead global development of information technology,” says Andrew Liu, Manager of TAITRA Taipei, ambassador for the Taiwan Excellence Award.
Taiwan’s high-tech products span various sectors and have won the trust and praise from users around the world and this year, for the first time, the Taiwan Excellence will showcase the top performing innovators of 2016-17 at CeBIT.

Mr Liu will lead the showcase sharing the products with innovative value from the Taiwan’s outstanding performers including Asus, Aver, Delta, Edimax, IEI, In Win and Thermaltake. Expert Panelists include:
